About

My name is Yakov Galka. I am a B.Sc. in pure mathematics graduated from the Tel-Aviv university. I am an experienced programmer. I write mostly in C++, because RAII, raw memory access, and understandable correspondence with machine code are the most important features for me.

I believe in decimal points, ‘every value is valid’ doctrine, half-open intervals, ISO 8601 dates and times, LF line endings, metric system, pixels as areas, premultiplied alpha, static web, the τ constant, UTF-8, and zero-based indexing.

I am available for contract work. Contact me for further details.

This site currently serves as a hub of some of my doings, as well as a publication platform for random, mutually unrelated, stuff.
